Pathways Longueville offers respite care for individuals requiring short-term support following a hospital stay, during recovery or when family carers need time to rest. Guests receive the same high standard of accommodation, care and hospitality as our permanent residents. Respite stays can also provide an opportunity to experience life at Longueville before making a longer-term decision.

Pathways acknowledges that Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) is a personal choice for eligible individuals under NSW legislation. While VAD is not directly provided within our residence, we respect residents’ rights to seek independent advice and support. Our team remains committed to providing compassionate care and dignity at every stage of a resident’s journey.

Our end of life care focuses on comfort, dignity and emotional support for both residents and their loved ones. The clinical team works closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure care aligns with each resident’s wishes and priorities. Our goal is to create a calm and supportive environment during this important stage of life.

TESTIMONIALS

“We want to thank the Pathways team for the exceptional care they gave our Mum over the two years she lived there, especially the support during the difficult final weeks. It was clearly more than just a job, the staff’s genuine affection for Mum was obvious. We felt we made the right choice, and everything since has confirmed it.”
