The Role

Pathways Residences, Sailors Bay is seeking a full-time roster, quality and education coordinator located at Northbridge.

Your role will involve the following:

  • Maintain cost-effective rostering
  • Assist with staff recruitment
  • Replacement of staff, including sick leave, annual leave and where there is a vacant shift
  • Publish vacant shifts for staff to fill
  • Assist with Human Resources issues
  • Set up of new employees
  • Coordinate orientation of new employees with Nurse Educator
  • Manage and monitor quality activities and audits
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and accreditation standards
  • Oversee, implement and plan education program to ensure all staff attend and complete mandatory education
  • Maintain accurate records in line with legislative requirements

The Candidate

  • You’ll bring to the role your passion, enthusiasm and caring nature and you will have
  • Previous aged care experience is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with management and staff
  • Understanding of aged care legislation and human resource management
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Have a high standard of customer service

  • National Federal Police/Criminal Check
  • Right to work in Australia by nationality/Citizenship/Residency/Work Visa
  • 100 points of photographic proof of identity
  • Proof of Influenza vaccination status
  • Proof of Covid – 19 vaccination status.

Opened in October 2013, Pathways Sailors Bay is a 121 bed aged care residence in the historic Sydney suburb of Northbridge.
