Hello Everyone,

Summer is over and we are in to the cooler months now, I would like to say a big welcome to our new residents and staff members.

We have had a few busy months with our summer program enjoying the bus trips and activity’s, we had some lovely Irish dancers come to preform which was enjoyed by all. Easter was enjoyed with painting and making of the decorations around the facility as well as our regular singing entertainers that visit weekly.

We have purchased a new Tilted shower chair and a new Mechanical lifter along with some nice new plants to be planted in our front garden.

We are continuing with education for our staff and have been focusing on the new standards. We have had a couple of staff members that have reached 10yrs service over the summer months, Registered Nurse Jelena and Nurse Kusuma, and would like to thank them for their service to pathways.

We would like to remind you all that the cooler months brings outbreaks of the flu / coughs and colds. Please if you could refrain from visiting your loved ones if you have any symptoms or the Flu during this time, as older people can be very vulnerable to these symptoms. We recommend the Flu injection to all residents and staff.

Please feel free to provide any feedback / suggestions you have on any matters related to our care / services.

Regards,

Fariba
